Melinda Tracy Boyce is a 26 year old comic artist living in Austin, TX. She paints diary comics, does commissioned portraits and is working on the serialized comic "Batcave Beach".
Colorful Portraits only $30 a head! You just email me a photo of yourself (or someone else) you’d like painted, a la melinda, and you’ll have an art piece you can keep forever! It could make a great gift or a facebook, blog or tumblr profile pic that really stands out! (USA Shipping Included)
If you've enjoyed reading my comics and have a little extra money to throw my way, I'd greatly appreciate it. I am a young, unemployed artist living in the city trying to scrape up rent money every month (no guilt trips here...), so any money you could donate would be great. If you have 10$ or more to send my way, I'll make it worth your while! Include your shipping address and I'll send you a small drawing or piece of art...each one will be unique. Thanks everyone!
I’m obsessed with avocado. It’s perfection – I never understand when people don’t like it. In Jamaica–where I spent kidhood–we call avocado ‘pear.’ Isn’t that funny?!
I love your comics! I just spent my morning reading all of them on this site. When I have some money I plan on buying AOA and Okay?Okay!
I started doing daily journal comics a little over a year ago with some other friends just for fun. I have no aspirations to go further than posting them on the web, but I’m glad I found your’s. I haven’t been keeping up with mine lately >.> so this is giving me inspiration to get back into them.
If you’d like you should check all of our journal comics. We all post on one board and some of us on separate blogs. http://comicsfromspace.com/cfsboard/viewforum.php?f=6
Keep up the great work!
Hi Melinda! I’m a really big fan of yours! Here in the Philippines, we treat avocado as a fruit. We eat it as it is, or sometimes, we mix it with condensed milk. Yum!
Or maybe the avocadoes here are just sweeter. I don’t know.
hahahahahha In Chile we eat avocado almost everyday, we call it “Palta”, we like to make a paste with it and salt, to eat it with bread, you should try it, is amazing. or mix it with salads
love your daily comics and sorry my english sucks a little
I love that pattern behind the avocado! Amazing.

In Brazil we don’t eat salty avocado often, but is really common sweet. My favorite is avocado with honey and milk, shaked. I love it!
